Seasons
Earth takes one year, or 365 days to move around the sun
We have season because earth moves around the sun.
When the northern hemisphere faces the sun, those who live in
the northern hemisphere get lots of light and weather is hot. The days are long
and the nights are short.
When the southern hemisphere faces the sun, those who live in
the northern hemisphere get cold weather.
When it's summer in the northern hemisphere, it's winter in
southern hemisphere.
When it's fall in the northern hemisphere, it's winter in the
southern hemisphere.
