Taking care of my body
Big idea: we take care of our bodies.
How do we
take care of our bodies?
-
We need to drink two cups of milk a day.
-
We always use soap and water to keep our bodies clean.
-
We eat a variety of food specially fruits and
vegetables.
-
We drink juice made of fresh fruits and a little
sugary drink.
-
We try to stay no more than two hours a day watching
TV or DVD and playing video game and using computer.
Why do we
have to go to bed?
Because every day is busy day for us, so we
need to sleep.
Why sleep
is important?
Because:
1- Sleep helps our
bones and muscles grow.
2- Sleep allows our
bodies to rest for the new busy day and to do well at school.
3- Sleep promotes
good health.
What happen when we don't have enough sleep?
We'll feel
tired because we have less energy and we may get sick.
